Pete Featherstone, our Product Development Technologist, has over 13 years’ experience across product development, manufacturing and quality assurance within the veterinary, food and beverage industries, specialising in formulation, process development and continuous improvement.
For nearly five years, Pete has worked as a Development Technologist at Pets Choice, providing technical expertise across Felight’s cat litter range. His responsibilities include evaluating new raw materials, benchmarking product performance, developing quality standards, specifications, and supporting product innovation and improvement.
Working closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams, Pete helps ensure products meet the required performance and quality standards. His role combines scientific knowledge with practical manufacturing experience, providing a thorough understanding of the materials, processes and technical considerations involved in developing effective cat litter products.
He holds a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science. Before joining Pets Choice, he worked in product and process development at Greencore and Refresco, following an earlier role in quality assurance at SGS.
Drawing on his experience across multiple manufacturing industries, Pete provides technical insight into cat litter materials, product performance and quality, helping Felight develop and improve products that meet the needs of cats and their owners.
